Narita to Los Angeles

The second leg of the journey, we flew from Narita to Los Angeles on United Airlines. As this is our first port of entry into USA we had to clear the immigration and the customs before we could fly to New York. Upon clearing the immigration we picked up our luggages from the carousel to be rechecked in for the last flight to JFK airport New York.

Stop over in Narita airport

We had a 10 hours stop over in Narita, and naturally we wanted to see a bit of Japan. After clearing immigration, storing our hand carry, exchanged some Yen, we hopped onto the Keisei Line to Narita city, two stops away. It cost us 250 ¥ per person. We managed to reach the place with no problems, except for the language! It is an old city with its rustic charms, old temples and narrow streets with quaint looking shops run by some very senior people.

One year's hiatus starting September 2010

The house seems so empty now that we have cleared all our belongings. It is awaiting a new owner (temporary of course) to warm it and to use it as a place of fellowship. A place where to hang out with friends!
